did not work 2x August 24, 2010 John Young (Lake Grove, NY United States) Ordered 2 of these cables to route them neatly behind the wall which my original 6' cable was too short for, and although I got them fast and the price was really good, they did not work. I used one to connect a Panasonic BD player to a 52" Sony Bravia, and all I got was static/snow. Tried the other cable, and that one at least showed the picture, but was still overlaid with static/snow. Switched back to the 6' HDMI cable that came with the player, and picture was crisp as before. Something is wrong with these cables. I also ordered TOSlink optical cables of the same length from the same manufacturer, but I didn't test those out yet. I am setting my expectations low. For the price I paid for them, it's not worth it for me to ship them back, but lesson learned. Next time don't settle for low-quality generic cables.
Absolute junk July 18, 2010 josh 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Signal constantly cuts out from laptop. I guess the fact that shipping costs more than the product should have been some form of an indication of product quality. Spend a bit more and get a decent cable.
Excellent value, quality July 13, 2010 A. Dent (Minas Anor, GD) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Briefly: right length for most uses, right price, certified HDMI 1.3/Cat 2 and a 'super savers' item (free shipping when ordering over $25 worth of Amazon merchandise). Can't get much better than this. Or... it can. The ferrite cores, not really needed at lengths of 6 ft. or under could make a difference on a 10 ft cable as they help reduce high frequency noise on the cable. It's been working well for us. Given the 1 yr. warranty promise and the ability to easily return the wire to Amazon if you get a defective item, I see no 'negatives'. The 3-6 ft. are the optimum lengths to connect most electronics and just about any HDMI wire would work well on those lengths, longer cables benefit from 'quality' and the ferrite cores should ensure that the cable will work always - too much noise would sometimes confuse your device and the picture may disappear for a fraction of a second on a so-so cable. Just in case someone may feel guilty for not paying a lot more for a premium brand, it should be stated that at these relatively short lengths, you will get as good a service from a good quality no-brand cable as you would from a super-expensive brand. An HDMI 1.3x cable should be able to carry, error free, all the signal your electronic equipment may put out. In fact, you can buy one or 2 extra 'cheap' cables, just in case. At these prices they're easily affordable. _________________________________________________________ Note: 10 ft. is a pretty long cable and you should be able to get away with a 3-6 ft. wire most of the time at home but, if a longer cable is needed, as I found we needed at the office, the BlueRigger proved to be the right pick and it saved our shareholders a few dollars. We've been using it with a projector for the past few months and, so far so good.
Supurb Quality on a Budget July 12, 2010 Steve (Atlanta, GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received my BluRigger 10' HDMI Cable quickly with fulfillment by Amazon. The cable is even better quality than I expected for the very low price I paid. Cable has thick rubberized casing, seems very sturdy and well constructed. It works flawlessly with my Panasonic Blu-Ray and TV. Quality is on par with high end cables from Monster costing many time more. Highly recommended. Only wish I had bought a couple when the price was so low. :)
Works As Advertised July 9, 2010 B. Korver (CA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Contrary to a few of the reviews, the one I received transmits audio from a modern Mac (MacBook Pro purchased 6/2010) to the TV.
