DVD CD paper sleeves July 15, 2010 Ed J This is the item I was looking for and reasonably priced.I like the free shipping.
The rubber band is ridiculous June 26, 2010 Fayez Zaheer (HOUSTON, TX, US) As has been stated in other reviews, despite being in a box that provides sufficient protection, a rubber band is wound tightly round the sleeves. Tight enough to where it has left a crease in all of the sleeves, and bent them. This doesn't affect functionality - your CDs/DVDs will still be protected, but it is annoying how bad the sleeves look right out of the box.
Good for large collections May 24, 2010 retrowrestling (SGV, California) I have a hugh collection of recordable DVD's and the best way for me to store those are with these paper sleeves. These items are lightweight and take up no space so thus they are convenient for storing large collections of DVD/CD's. Memorex's verion is comparable to any other brand out there. Obviously, this medium is limited to begin with..the protection won't be the same as if you had a plastic case. But for what it is, the Memorex 50pack sleeves is a good value.
Using Paper Not Plastic April 21, 2010 Stuart Williamson (Los Angeles, CA, USA) I got away from using plastic crystal boxes for storing CD's ans DVD's that burn. Now I use Memorex paper sleeves. Much more compact for storage. My only complaint is that Memorex bind the sleeves with an elastic band, inside the box, which crumples the sleeves to some extent. After removing the elastic the sleeves gradually straight out but it would be better if they came just boxed without the elastic.
Not too bad... April 9, 2010 EdieBlount EdieBlount (Florida) I previously purchased Memorex brand sleeves nearly a year ago, and was very satisfied, but there is this recent stock is definitely a bit more narrow than the previous (as others have noted). I often store two disc per envelope, and it's a bit more of a squeeze. They are also a tad more flimsy, but that's okay-- it's just discs, not heirloom china, right? :) Overall, they serve the purpose.
